It is possible to develop polyisocyanurate (PIR) systems that are specially designed and produced at the Kimteks plant, thanks to low emission and flame resistant polyols which can be passed through the most challenging flammability tests.
Thanks to the polyisocyanurate molecule, the flame resistance of foams is increased during the fire. The system thus forms a superb structure with a high degree of fire resistance, which results in minimal smoke production.
During the production, it should be applied in the recommended press temperatures (min. 60°C) to provide sufficient binding to the sheet surface and to form sufficient PIR molecules.
In addition, it is necessary to use a suitable bonding primer to achieve long-lasting bonding on the panels.
